Made from monkey pod wood, this carousel horse has been handmade by skilled artists in Thailand. The horse has been carved with great detail paid to the intracate detail on the face and body. Each horse has been coloured using a mixture of bright and vibrant colours, adding to the beauty of the piece. The rocker has fixed handle on either side of the head for children to hold onto. The horse stands on a rocking base with a scroll pattern carved on each side. The unpainted wood has been treated with a natural brown wax to bring out the beauty in the grain, whilst the coloured parts are treated with a clear wax for protection.
